MBS resin is products with a "core-shell" structure and excellent toughness performance. The products of this series are the copolymer of methacrylate(M), butadiene(B),styrene(S)and fourth functional monomer.

These are synthesized resin specially developed to improve the impact strength and processing performance of PVC products.

These are especially suitable to make indoor
products, such as PVC films, sheets, pipes, pipe fittings, WPC, bottles and granular materials.

Application

MBS resin is an ideal PVC impact modifier due to their compatible solubility parameters and refractive indices. It significantly improves PVC's impact resistance at room/low temperatures while maintaining transparency, making it optimal for clear products. MBS also enhances cold resistance and processability, suitable for pipes, sheets, containers, and flexible goods. However, its butadiene content limits weather resistance, restricting outdoor use.
