Azodicarbonamide (ADC foaming agent) is a yellow crystalline powder (chemical formula C2H4N4O2) that is odorless and non-toxic, with a relative density of 1.65 and fineness ≥99.5% (200 mesh). It is soluble in alkali but poorly soluble in water and alcohols. Primarily used as a foaming agent for industrial plastic foams.
